Tim's Biography

Timothy Eyerman was born in Columbus Ohio in 1940. He was educated at The Ohio State University, Columbus OH, Montgomery College, Rockville, MD, The Wharton School of Business at the University of PA, Philadelphia PA, and received his professional certification CPMR (Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative) at Indiana University Bloomington IN. He has also acted as an industry liaison to the faculty and mentored PhD International Marketing Candidates at Insead (a graduate business school located in Fontainebleau France).

He has spent his life working in the Aerospace & Military Industrial Industry starting at Western Electric (Part of the Bell Telephone Company), serving in the US Army Signal Corps, Watkins Johnson Company and starting two of his own companies, CEtech Electronics Corporation (a marketing consulting and representative sales company) and Emicon Corporation (an engineering and manufacturing company).

He was a past President and Chairman of the Board of ERA (Electronic Representatives Association) an international trade association for independent Manufacturers Representative Firms.

He is also in the ERA Hall of Fame, a Life Member and recipient of the Key Award. During and after his 10-year tenure on the national board of directors he helped to internationalize the organization as director of international development Europe, fought to prevent undesirable legislation that would have harmed the Representative form of business and to improve the image of professional manufacture representatives. He wrote numerous articles for trade magazines about the state of the electronic industry and was a speaker at many national and international events. He also participated in lobby efforts in Washington DC with the SBLC (Small Business Legislative Council).

He has served on the board of directors of several other not-for-profit organizations including YLMHC (Ysleta Lutheran Mission Human Care) a faith-based organization delivering holistic care to the underserved on both sides of the southern border of the US and LHMI (Lutheran Hispanic Missionary Institute) training workers for Hispanic ministry.

He was a member of AFCEA (Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association) an international non-profit membership association serving the military, government, industry and academia as a forum for advancing professional knowledge and relationships in the fields of communications, information technology, intelligence and security and The Association of Old Crows (AOC) which is an international non-profit professional organization specializing in electronic warfare, tactical information operations, and associated disciplines.

He is a lifelong Lutheran and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Elders in his home congregation.

Tim only started writing books when he was in his seventies. His late brothers and some of his contemporaries commented that none had written down what they had experienced in life and they whish that they had. That inspired Tim to write his autobiography. After that he continued to write about other topics about which he had interest and experience. Tim doesn't consider himself an author, but a storyteller with years of life experience to share with all who are interested.

The Power of Faith - - Book by Tim Eyerman

The Power of Faith is the story of the growth of a little mission church that overcame seemingly unsurmountable odds starting in the late 1800s in the wild west and became the catalyst for the emergence of other churches in El Paso TX, Southern NM, Ciudad Juarez and beyond proving that with faith nothing is impossible.

Work in progress.....

Tim's next book will address the history of the USA. Why is what is taught in school about our history mostly showing a British heritage? What about the Spanish and the French? Are our schools teaching and encouraging a revisionist history of our country? If so, why? What stimulated recent attempts to erase or hide our early history? Is that going to make our country better? Tim takes a deep dive into the early development and history of the USA to try and answer some of these questions in his next book titled Growth of the Nation. This will be history like you haven't experienced it before.
